St John Bosco College | Piara Waters | Savio Building

Stage 3a & 3b saw the construction of the first stage of the secondary college facilities. This was a very strategic stage, as it maximised the specialist facilities to enable the college to highlight a wider offering of different subjects.

This stage included the construction of two buildings. The first was a science facility offering two chemistry laboratories, four general-purpose laboratories for physical and biological sciences, a project GLA, an outdoor living laboratory in the form of a landscaped pond and swale area, and a sheltered courtyard in the centre of the facility. This facility also provides sufficient lockers for 192 students.

The second building was a two-storey practical and creative arts building that allowed the college to offer a wide variety of subjects (staff dependent). These facilities included a commercial teaching kitchen, a domestic teaching kitchen, music and music ensemble rooms, a textiles room, and three arts rooms that can be adapted for various purposes.
